Earlier this month the West Hollywood City Council made headlines when they passed a motion to remove Donald Trump's star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Unfortunately, the City Council has no jurisdiction over the matter but you know who does...the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
That is why I am asking them to remove Donald Trump's star and replace it with one that honors a real star...Carrie Fisher!
Carrie Fisher was not only born Hollywood Royalty as the daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, she was also a talented writer, actress, and humanitarian who is known around the world for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars films.
Donald Trump, on the other hand, is a sad sack reality TV star who somehow became President whose resume boasts cameos in Home Alone 2 and Suddenly Susan.
Co-star Mark Hamill agrees, he even suggested it via a Twitter post!
Please sign my petition calling on Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove Donald Trump's star for good and waive the self-imposed five-year waiting period to nominate Carrie Fisher and replace his star now!
