Speak out against slavery simulations for public schools kids without parental consent

It has been discovered that the annual McKinley Jr high outside education field trip for 6th graders at the Nature’s Class Institute has an 15yr tradition of students participating in simulations that recreate experiencing the traumas of being a slave and using the Underground Railroad without parental consent or any explanation to the students prior to participating. As parents we find this unacceptable and demand the superintendent of district 150 and principal of McKinley Junior High School be removed from their positions immediately
