Every day, 10,000 acres of rain forest are being lost every day. This increases carbon levels in the atmosphere; directly contributing to global warming.
Species become extinct every day, never again to walk under the green canopy they once knew.
In Borneo I have seen groups of Proboscis monkeys leading their free and independent lives. I lump grows in my throat as I think that my descendants may not be able to see this sight. Even at thirteen, the rain forest has changed my life forever.
I't is easy to think," I'll wait for a more convenient time to sign" but, if you sign now the 10,000 acres of today may be saved.
Since 1990, over 420 million hectares of forest has been lost globally.
Malaysias rain forest is particularly important as it has a high carbon content and is very rich in wildlife. This rain forest of malaysia and malaysian borneo deserves being protected from human deforestation. NOW!
I beg you, people of the earth, to save the planet
from the ultimate death.
