Please join me in asking him to support his Ambassador and MP's from around the world and use this opportunity to demand Japan end the drive hunt.

Dear President Obama

As you are aware there has been global condemnation of the Taiji drive hunt, even from your own Ambassador Caroline Kennedy.

As you will be visiting Japan, home of the hunt and South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines who all buy dolphins from the hunt, some to live in appalling conditions. We urge you to use this opportunity to demand that Japan end the hunt.

It is not part of their tradition, it didn't start until 1969 after the IWC banned whaling. It is not their culture either, whale hunting was important many years ago when Japan was not allowed to hunt 4 legged animals, that has now changed, so it is no longer needed as a source of protein, neither are those villages cut off from the outside world.

Please support us, your Ambassador and MP and Government ministers across the globe and get this stopped.

Thank you

We have reached over 1000 signatures, thank you so much for signing.

We need to reach our 5000 target before the end of March so it can be sent off to President Obama before he starts his preparations to leave for Japan. Could you please share the petition amongst your friends and family, if we each get 4 signatures, the target will be reached.

Thank you again.
