Reverse the decision of Government to start charging Tuition fees for Adult Basic Education programs

In 2007 the BC Liberal Government after consultations in the Education 2020 had made the decision to remove tuition fees for Adult Basic Education across BC. This made it easier for Adults who did not even graduate high school to get their Adult Dogwood. In recent days the BC Government has had a change of heart and has now put tuition fees on ABE courses, this will prove to be a financial hardship on Adult Learners who may now be unable to take classes to better their future. There is no reason why the Government would reverse their 2007 decision and this time without any consultations. Therefore we need to sign this petition so that it will help them to see what is being done is wrong and that they need to immediately rescind the plans to charge tuition on something that is a basic right of all.
