As the current HOA rules & regulations stand as far as fencing goes, it is not ideal or what the homeowners of Hunters West & Hunters Crossing want.
Please sign this petition if you want the current HOA fencing rule to be changed to the stated below. Please ONLY sign if you are the current home owner of a home in Hunters West or Hunters Crossing.
We the homeowners of Hunters West & Hunters Crossing would like the option of different fencing heights, no higher than 6ft, like the village requires, as well as additional options for material that are maintenance free. No chain link.
Reasons for this change are as follows;

Safety:
Such sort fences are a safety hazard for kids and animals. Some animals can easily jump these 4 ft fences. This leads to pet owners having to continuously search for their lost pets. Pets can easily get loose, lost for good, or even hit by a car. Unwanted animals can also jump into your yard and potentially harm your children or your pets in your own yard.

Cost:
Wooden fences are not cheap. They also need to be mainted in order to keep nice and eventually replaced when rotted. Why not spend our hard earned money on something that will last. Let it be our choice in what we purchase!

Maintenance:
Wooden fences require maintenance in order for it to look nice and stay fully functional. They rot, pieces need to be replaced, causing it to be different colors and an eye sore. Allowing maintenance free fencing options in our neighborhoods will not only save you money and time, but will also make our neighborhoods look nicer.
