Tell ISPs to Say No to Six Strikes Plan!

The main Internet Service Providers are dangerously close to beginning a "Six Strikes" plan in order to battle "online infringement" after collaborating with those that endorsed SOPA.

AT&T, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Verizon, and Cablevision Systems will not only harass customers who may be accused of breaking intellectual property rights (with no due process) but will also put up roadblocks to Internet access.

These ISPs will notify their customers about violations, and after several, may make their Internet connection slower, force subscribers to stay on a landing page until they discuss the issue or go through an educational program about copyright, or put subscribers through other measures.

Please tell these ISPs to say no to the "Six Strikes" plan and instead protect the right to a free Internet!

Dear ISPs,

ISPs including AT&T, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cablevision Systems, and Verizon are all planning on implementing the "Six Strikes" plan in order to fight against "online infringement".

Unfortunately, this system will not use due process and will instead force subscribers to defend their access to the Internet to major corporations. Subscribers will be alerted when they have made a violation, and then after several violations will see their Internet slow down, a landing page they will have to stay on until they discuss the matter or go through an educational program, and other similar things.

Please protect the right to a free Internet and say no to the "Six Strikes" plan!

Thank you for your time.
