No to Shorelock on Negril 7Mile Beach

NEPA has approved a pilot test of an unknown substance marketed by Hydros Solutions called Shorelock.  Hydros claims that "ShoreLock™ re-establishes sand’s hydrophilic properties and natural cohesive forces while using wave energy and tidal changes to further capture the oceans nearshore suspended  sand resulting in rapid accretion."  There has been no peer reviews of this product and no one knows the long term effects on the organisms that live in sand.  The maker claims it is non toxic and made up of FDA approved materials - yet is is not patented nor used in the USA. 
It could destroyour beach!  Say no by signing this petition and asking others to do the same.
