Approve Medical Marijuana for Millions of New Yorkers

Medical marijuana has been approved in N.Y. but only for a small amount of people who suffer with certain illnesses. One of the illness that was not approved is fibromyalgia. There has been extensive medical and scientific research proving that medical marijuana helps with a variety of symptoms that people with fibromyalgia have including excruciating chronic pain. These studies show that medical marijuana works better then any of the medications or narcotics that people with fibromyalgia are forced to take because there is nothing else out there to help them from their daily suffering. On the McGill pain index, fibromyalgia came in as the illness most painful just below childbirth and above illnesses such as cancer. Please don't forget all the millions of New Yorkers that are suffering from this debilitating illness and add fibromyalgia to the list of approved illnesses that medical marijuana can treat.
