The evidence is all around us -- ICE officers are knowingly and callously breaking the law. They are beating people. They are putting them in horrible conditions. They are even violating the basic rights of American citizens.
Yes, there are many who are not breaking the law, and doing their jobs appropriately. But the bad ones need to know that they will be prosecuted and punished, even if it means waiting until the lawless Trump administration is out of power.
They need to know NOW that their actions will have consequences, and they will not get to say they were "just following orders." We must do this to push back against current abuses, and also to keep them from going much further down a dark and dangerous road.
