There are so many wonderful animals in shelters that need a home. Most of the animals that are purchased at pet shops are usually ill. When taken home the new owner had to bring them to a Vet. It can be expensive and take a long time for their new pet to be healthy. If they go to a shelter they can usually find the kind of pet they are looking for and if the pet needs a vet or sick in some way the shelters will help. It also saves a buyer from spending so much money for a pet in the store.
