There is a parking lot in Burbank California on magnolia blvd that has at least 30 kids every week come to skateboard at, and it's not even a skatepark, it is just an empty parking lot. Burbank valley skatepark has certain hours and costs money to go to and nobody likes that so we go to the parking lot to have fun with friends instead. I would like to petition to have the parking lot be renamed as parking lot skatepark and the land is given to the local skateboarders to make whatever kind of ramps or obstacles they would like to. The city would not have to pay for anything, it would all be in the skaters hands to handle the skatepark. If this were to happen, than this would keep a lot of skateboarders out of the Burbank streets messing up other people's property, and causing mayhem where it doesn't need to happen. This would also be great for magnolia, it would bring more attention to magnolia and ultimately help out a lot of businesses who need customers. People from out of town look up skateparks in Burbank and then the parking lot comes up, and they get to drive through magnolia and check out all the good places that magnolia has to offer and also go to the skatepark. The parking lot would give skaters in Burbank a safe and fun area to hang out at. THIS SKATEPARK WILL BE ENTIRELEY FREE AND IS IN A NICE AND SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD
