Because American citizens should have the right to to have Russian arms brought into the country, and the ban on kalashnikov concern weapons is absurd. We need to stand up to these unconstitutional laws because if we don't, the 2nd amendment might be gone someday because nobody told our politics to stop this at once.
Dear Congress,
We as American citizens should have the right to own any firearm regardless if it is American or foriegn. Recently i have found out about this new executive order that bans kalashnikov concern weapons and ammunition being imported into the U.S. Personally, i find this absurd and me and many other American's share the same opinion. If we keep passing these laws that restrict these types of weapons or ammunition, I'm afraid that someday it might destroy the 2nd amendment for good. I hopefully see that somewere down in the hearts of politicians that they may see that we as people are making unnecessary mistakes and we should correct our mistakes as human beings because many people like Russian firearms, including me. There are clearly other ways to make sanctions against the Russian federaton, the ban on most Russian made firearms and ammunition types was not a smart idea in my opinion. I hope some people out there agree with my opinion as well.
