Most makeup products on the market today are not FDA tested and approved. This means that face washes, eye makeups, tooth whitening pens, moisturizers, shaving creams and many other products are not tested and proved to be safe on human skin. While most makeup products are FDA regulated, that does not mean that the product it's self is safe or proven to do what it claims it will do. Many of us have experienced disappointment when buying products claiming to reduce eye puffiness or dark circles, products that promise to plump lips or safely whiten teeth that just simply do not work. I say we put an end to all of this nonsense, confusion and false advertising by requiring all makeup products to be FDA tested and approved before being sold in stores to protect people from possible negative side effects of long term use of untested products.
