Demand Accountability for Officers who break the Law

Police officers killing unarmed citizens, shooting them in the back. For what, for running away? What motivates a person of authority to portray themself as a danger, a force to be feared?A first reaction to an unarmed citizen should never be to use deadly force. Especially when it is the fear that was created and instilled by said authority figure. That is not now, nor should it ever be an open door to MURDER.. What, in essence, does this truly say about our system of structure, our law enforcement? Where's the respect for life, for our fellow man? When that respect has all but diminished, what kind of society would we be then?
One of anarchy, discord, distrust, as well as, destruction of the very foundation that holds us together as a SOCIETY, COMMUNITY, AND A FAMILY. Our Judicial system, the hierarchy in which that entails, and law enforcement is the very back bone of our society. How do we hold ourselves accountable for the destruction of that?

Corruption, murder, extortion, where does it end?
I want to see officers who can be trusted. The ones we look to for help, support, and safety. Someone worthy of respect. Regardless of skin color , nationality or gender, that officer is a pillar of strength in which we so desperately need in society. Tell me where did all our heroes go?
