Demand all dog walkers are liscensed & vetted regularly

‘’ Apparant ‘’ dog walkers have been witnessed mistreating dogs in their care and out on walks!!!!
Not all dog walkers do it because they have a love for dogs!!!!! Its pretty easy money and if you take up to 8 or 9 dogs or more at a time, thats not bad going. ONLY, these so called dog walkers are NOT carrying out what they advertise. Within a space of a month , myself and a group of friends have witnessed dogs being abused, shouted at and manhandled at the hands of walkers. Some only walked for 20mins others had dogs in vans with no air conditioning. When so many dogs are not easily controlled, walkers lash out at them. And these poor dogs provide an income and get little consideration and care!!!!!
It has been revealed that dog walkers are no longer liscensed, so any tom, dick or harry can be one.
I started this petition because i was saddened that people are paying good money and these poor pets are being treated this way and that the owners are probably none the wiser.
Also because it broke my heart to see dogs so fearful and frightened when walking should be fun and enjoyable!
Please please please do not be afraid to ask questions and investigate deeply into the care you are seeking for your family pet, your loved one.
Always be vigilant and visit where your dogs maybe being boarded or cared for. Ask to see the transport in which they will be taken in and check for crates and air conditioning. Some dogs were loose inside a large van with no crates or air conditioning!!!! Make note of your dogs behaviour around your walker/carer and speak to people. ALWAYS report your concerns no matter how big or small. Animal abuse of any form must NEVER be ignored. Remenber, they cant tell you themselves so its our job as their owners to make sure they are safe and happy!!
