For far too many years, hundreds of thousands of young immigrants who were brought to the US as children have been stuck in limbo, at risk of being deported back to countries they have no connection to simply because they were born on the wrong side of an arbitrary, artificial border.
In 2021, House Democrats passed the DREAM Act, which would create a pathway for the 600,000 people who are protected by DACA to achieve permanent residency in the United States. But now with Republicans set to retake the House in January, time is running out.
Tell the Senate to protect our DREAMERS and put an end to the GOP plot to deport hundreds of thousands of Americans!
The incoming Republican House majority would love nothing more than to throw the DREAM Act right in the trash and deport every single one of these hard-working Americans as part of their racist and xenophobic agenda.
We owe it to these upstanding migrants to let them live their lives without the fear that a court case in front of a Trump judge might see them on a plane to a strange land through no fault of their own.
