Demand a end to fireworks law in Livingston parish

We the tax payers of Livingston parish have no rights when it comes to fireworks. The police tells you its a holiday. Enough is enough the majority of the home owners DO NOT pop fireworks. But yet we have to lose sleep in these subdivisions where the houses are to close to each other for this nonsense. Our little animals are terrified in their home. Then in the morning we have all the litter that these inconsiderate people left for us to clean up. We have no rights in this matter. The good tax payers of Livingston is tired of it all. We are beginning to think a mistake has been made in settling here to have a good life and peace of mind. .It's our holiday too don't we have the right to enjoy it also?
