Dear Mr President Obama,
Please read this letter and statement time is running out!
Sir,
friends and relatives, I am writing to you today to ask you to support my petition to the President of the United States of America, about the Plight of the First Nations People.
It is time after hundreds of years of promises and treaties, for the American Government to keep those promises and treaties.
It is time that all the wrongs that have been done to these proud, and cultural people to change.
For hundred of years they have lived with a word called hope, a word that to me has more than four letters, for them this word has lasted a eternity, their hope, became poverty, sickness, disease, abuse, hunger, misunderstanding, abandoned, and forgotten. It is time for America the richest country in the world, to help its First Nations People, once and for all,
instead of neglecting them, it is time to put some real stimulus into the communities, with investment and infer structure, it is time to do away with corrupt agencies and department and treat the first nations people as a sovereign nation with in the country, it is time to admit that many wrong where done to these people in the name of manifest destiny, it is time to say thank you to the first nations people who helped the first settlers, who would have not survived, with out their help, it is time to thank the first nations people for the foundations of government, that they them selves had in there nations, which has been adopted by the American government,
It is time to stop big businesses and department from taking natural resources away fro m these people without sharing the wealth of these resource, it is time to stop vast quantities of land being turned into, dangerous polluted areas that affect every aspect of the lives of these people from birth to death. It is time that we respect these people for all the sacrifices these people have made including the brave men and women that have died in Iraq, Afghanistan, world war 2, Korea, Vietnam, with out whom the out come would have been so different, it is time to honour them, as they do the united states, when they fly the American flag, along side there nations own flag at ceremonial events and Pow Wows, it is time to be thank full for the cultural and spiritual message that they share with us, and help other people through their lives, it is time to put aside the rich unpatriotic hypocrites that, converge and gore on the plight of those suffering to boost their own positions in life, it is time to stop thinking that abandoning these people and allowing them to live like people in third world countries, which no one should on the planet, thinking it is satisfactory and that it does not concern them.. It does.
It is time for healing and forgiveness on a scale that has never been done before, or imaginable.
It is time for love to build a bridge, dont you think its time
