Take a stand for curbside waste and recycling services in Hendersonville, TN

We, the ​p​eople of Hendersonville, Tennessee, in ​order to form a more perfect waste stream and to promote the conservation of our natural resources, are in favor of implementing less frequent disposal services and incorporating a citywide curbside solid waste and recycling program.

The city's waste contract is up for renewal in June 2019.
The Middle Point landfill is projected to be full in 5-10 years.
We need a long-term plan to reduce waste, not a system that encourages more.
A combined solid waste and recycling program would reduce tipping fees and fuel-costs associated with backdoor services. *residents unable to roll a cart to the curb can apply for free backdoor services.
Creating infrastructure for recycling now will save the money and resources in the future.

The undersigned residents of Hendersonville, TN would like to the city establish a curbside trash/recycling program so we can start recycling our waste instead of sending it all to the landfill.
