Assistance for the disabled and others have not been really raised since 1977 and only $100.00 was given to those on assistance when the new government took office in the last election. People on assistance only receive $375.00 a month towards shelter and must take money from their support portion to make up the rest. Not all people on disability can work and thus face terrible cruelty and neglect by all levels of government as well local media bodies who just don't care enough to report matters in any strong sense, thus aiding in helping this horror to continue against some of the most beat down people in our society!
