Demand an End to Amish Animal Abuse Now!

Over and over again there have been incidents of cruelty and abuse to horses at the hands of some members of the Amish communities.  Most recently another horse collapsed while pulling a heavy wagon in ninety degree heat and then was kicked and subsequently died. Dogs  are living in horrendous conditions and suffering on Amish puppy mill farms. It is time the Amish were really held accountable for the abuse and cruelty they cause to animals. The Amish puppy mills need to be banned and strict laws regarding the proper treatment of horses  enacted. Amish offenders need to be held accountable like everyone else and the horses protected. Religious rights do not allow someone the right to abuse and be cruel to an innocent animal.   Animal cruelty and abuse  in Pennsylvania needs to be a felony and ALL violaters charged.

To The Honorable Governor Wolf,

Please enact legislation making animal abuse and cruelty in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania a felony and all violaters including the Amish to be held accountable. Please ban all Amish puppy mills and protect horses from being abused at the hands of the Amish as there have been far too many incidents where horses have suffered or died.
