Children's lives matter

60 deaths in 4 years is unacceptable. Safety of children is more important than the child's culture or family. The Department of Child Protection must stop putting children's lives at risk of death, trauma, harm, abuse and neglect. Residential Care and leaving children in abusive homes with family who are addicted to drugs is not the answer. Early intervention only works when parents are wanting to make legitimate changes not when they are forced to. The well-being of our nation is dependent on the well-being of our children.
