Tiger's Tale: Stop a Cruel Veterniarian

  • al: Kit Frazier

A veterinarian viciously killing a neighbor's cat? Dr. Kristen Lindsey, a veterinarian in Brenham, TX.  bragged about "bow-killing" a cat--presumed be "Tiger," the pet of a neighbor--by shooting him in the head with a bow and arrow. Dr. Lindsey posted her smiling face and her *kill* on social media, boasting that she should be awarded, in her words: "Vet of the Year, lol". Tell her, and the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners that this is not a laughing matter.
Her behavior is unacceptable and inhumane for anyone, much less a person charged with the health and welfare of our pets. Dr. Lindsey should not be allowed anywhere near pets, and her license should be revoked.

Bragging about killing pets is no laughing matter, especially for a veterinarian entrusted to care for our pets.

Acts of cruelty to animals are not mere indications of a minor personality flaw in the abuser; they are symptomatic of a deep mental disturbance. Research in psychology and criminology shows that people who commit acts of cruelty to animals don’t stop there—many of them move on to their fellow humans. “Murderers … very often start out by killing and torturing animals as kids,” says Robert K. Ressler, who developed profiles of serial killers for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).(1)

Please revoke Dr. Lindsey's veterinary license, for the sake of our pets.
