Dear Melania: If You Want to Stop "Hateful and Violent Rhetoric", Talk to Your Husband First

Dear Melania:  When you said this, literally every single person in America would have assumed you were talking about Donald, had you not specified otherwise:

"[His] hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country... his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like [him] shouldn't have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate."

Seriously, it's uncanny.

But if you really want to stop "calls for violence", start at home -- because the "calls" are coming from inside the house.  The White House.

We get that you went through a frightening experience at the event, and if you choose to use that to work to reduce hateful and violent speech, we are with you and we salute you.

But it's pretty clear that the best place for you to start is at home.
