Grand Rapids, MI Today a group of concerned taxpayers announced the formation of a tea party movement against the use of taxpayer dollars in political campaigns.
As Congressman Hoekstra aknowelged in Ludington in 2002, it is wrong to use public funds for political campaign purposes, said Jason Duflo, spokesperson for Taxpayers for Clean Government. The public funds should be held by the state to reduce the tax burden on struggling small businesses rather than spent on attack ads, t-shirts, and bumper stickers.
Jason Duflo is the spokesperson for Michigan Citizens for Tax Reform and is a small businessowner in the Grand Rapids area. Other Grand Rapids members include John Neville, Kyle Dehne, Foster Bishop, James Allen, Bill Jerow, and Ashely Steenstra.
We need concerned taxpayers to voice their concerns about public funding so that politicians will stop their use of these funds for their political agendas.
Michigan Citizens for Tax Reform was initially formed by former State Representative Matt Milosch in 2007 to oppose the Granholm Tax Increases.
