Faith schools are divisive. They create the view that those who adhere to a belief system are superior to those who do not hold those views. They propagate an outdated world vie based on intolerance and exclusivity.
In the twenty-first century we are in danger of losing the gains made by brave men and women who from the seventeenth century onwards chose to risk everything byu challenging religous authority and priveleges.
Through the laudable aim to celebrate diversity modern people have swung the pendulum so far back that the achievements of the Enlightenment are now at risk and critical thought is drowning in a sea of wilful ignorance.
Socrates said: "The unexaminedlife is not liveable by Man." This appears to be no longer the case.

When people looked forward to the current century they expected it to be one in which humanity finally threw off the the shackles of superstition and moved forward to gather all knowldge and attempt all things.
Instead development has been thrown into reverse with cults of unreason backed by violenc etaking a stronger hold with each passing year.
We must act now before it is too late.
