The company is attacking outraged animal lovers everywhere by countering that the app is "just a game", but we aren't buying it. By glorifying dog fighting and dog aggression, "Dog Wars" is only working to further the misconception that dog fighting is an exciting and lucrative business, and spreads an unjust fear of many innocent dog breeds.
Dog fighting is a felony in every state in the U.S., which makes the app a clear violation of Google's marketplace guidelines, specifically where it states "Android Market should not be used for unlawful purposes or for promotion of dangerous and illegal activities".
Dog fighting is never "just a game" and the makers of this awful and dangerous "game" should be ashamed of themselves. Tell Kage Games, LLC to drop the app from the Android Marketplace now.
The "Dog Wars" app makes a game out of a cruel and dangerous reality. By creating and distributing a game in which players feed, train and fight dogs, you are promoting a life-style that is not only cruel and violent, it is illegal.
