Stop the cruel treatment of calves when they are born and taken away from the mom.

Many infants are born lactose intolerant and many adults become lactose intolerant. We do not need cow's milk, even though advertising makes us think so. Milk is taken from the cow and used for so many things. We are used to milk like it is a natural thing for us....wrong. Calves need the milk when they are born to give them a healthy start.
It is a hideous secret what happens to the calve when it is pulled away from the mother, just so we can have ice cream and everything else. There is big, big money in milk and we have let that happen because we are not aware of the inhumane treatment of the calve. An animal would not treat its offspring this bad. But humans for money would and do.
I wish we could stop what goes on at factory farms, but they are too powerful and the government is too powerful. One by one we can make a difference we can make the world a better place for all.
