Kent State University: Divest from DAPL!

Companies, businesses, states, schools and individuals around the country are divesting from DAPL (Dakota Access Pipeline) by removing their money from banks that are invested in DAPL. Kent State University supports PNC Bank, which is invested in DAPL through Sunoco Logistics, Energy Transfer Partners and Energy Tranfer Equity, and has a very important relationship with them. PNC bank is on campus.

This petition is asking the university to reevaluate their relationship with the powerful bank and tell them that they will divest from their bank unless the bank stops funding DAPL.

As a University that represents and welcomes people from all walks of life, I do not believe funding a project that could possibly destroy Indigenous lands and water and also the water that millions of people rely on. Please sign now if you agree!
