survivors are also currently facing a possible starvation crisis. Rescue workers are racing to provide food to the embattled region, but it's still not enough.

evacuate over one million people. Now displaced and traumatized, survivors are continuing to face even more challenges. In addition to homes being destroyed and power lines going down, food supplies were also swept away or ruined. Hundreds of thousands of families are unsure how to feed themselves and their children.
Local charities as well as the World Health Organization are trying to fill in the gaps, but they need more help.
