End the use of rhino horn immediately

Rhinos are being poached in the most horrendously cruel ways to supply the demand for rhino horn in Vietnam. The animals horns are chopped off while the animal is sedated. Often great gaping wounds are left which become infested with maggots. At times one of their eyes is gouged out. The animal is left to suffer a slow, agonising death.  How can people from a so-called civilised country believe tha rhino horn has any medicinal value.  Often it is the wealthy people who use rhino horn as a status symbol.  To civilised people these monsters are showing the rest of the world how savage they are.
