A self-interest group has gathered and made a presentation to our town regarding the construction and operation of a spray park. As responsible citizens, it is our opinion that no further taxes be imposed upon town residents for the construction and maintenance of this Spray Park when many vital projects are shelved waiting for funding. A few items to remember - 107 street bumps and dips, 108 street west end closed for over 3 months due to under-road washout, massive flooding due to over capacity of an aging sewer system.
We propose that, until such time that a proposal can be shown that adds zero cost to the tax payers of Westlock, no further non-essential construction of any sort.
