Establish A North Shore Dog Beach

The City of St. Petersburg will consider allotting a portion of the North Shore beachfront to a dog-friendly beach.  Their consideration hinges on how much support and desire there is among the area citizens.

We feel it will actually be more of a draw to the Waterfront area for tourists and citizens alike.

Currently, anyone wanting their dog to swim and enjoy the water in this area must drive to the tip of Ft. DeSoto, which is a long drive (with tolls), to enjoy the beach with your dog. Especially when there is so much along the Waterfront in St. Petersburg.
