Many story are around today of parents having no say in the treatment a child receives in hospital.. having every right snatched away.. I'm calling for the law of lasting power of attorney to be changed to children under 13 parents should automatically have lasting power of attorney over their kids. Lasting power of attorney stated any body that does not have the mental capacity which I feel should apply to children under 13 as they do not have the mental capacity to make life changing decisions about the health care they receive..
