End Pigeon Rolling at Iowa State Fair!

Pigeon rolling is a "game" in which you roll a real, live pigeon like a bowling ball to see how far it goes. While this is something these birds do naturally - and without human assistance, - it can be a terrible influence on the children who play this game. This trait is specific to certain kinds of birds. If a child or an adult were to attempt this game with the wrong breed or even the wrong species, it could result in injury to the animal.

Teaching people about animals can do a lot of good, but this kind of physical interaction could be harmful and dangerous. Please sign this petition to say that animals are NOT playthings and should not be used as toys!
