End Child Marriage in California.

Whereas it is legal for people under 18 years of age to marry in the State of California with the approval of the parents and the courts,

and whereas parents in California therefore have the right to force their underaged children into an arragined marriage;

therefore, we the undersigned hereby request that the govenror of California and both houses of the California State Legislature pass a law that sets the minimun age for anyone in the State of California at 18 years of age in order to prevent any more child marriages.
