Ban High Stakes Test

The issue that I have is with high stakes testing in elementary schools with a goal of banning high stakes testing of children under 12! These high stakes test pit schools against one another, teachers against one another, and are completely unfair to children. Teachers spend an inordinate amount of time preparing children to take tests that are a shot in the dark. Children can be asked any type of question and have multiple layers to the questions. It's completely ridiculous! Please help return our elementary schools to places of learning and building foundations for more advanced skills. My connection? I'm in the fight everyday for children, and with children! Help me ban this horrible, degrading practice!
