A Petition to stop further development of 101 Kozlov Street in Barrie Ontario

Zelinka Priamo Ltd on behalf of Green Valley Construction Corp has submitted an application to change zoning By-law for 101 Kozlov Street to allow for expansion from the current 7 storey 129 unit apartment complex with the addition of a further 120 units in 5 3.5 storey stacked townhouse complex. They have further asked for an additional 292 surface parking spaces.

If the developer is allowed to compete this project it will not only require removal of trees in from of the property on Kozlov street, a small forested area behind the buildings toward Livingstone street.

I believe It will also increase vehicular traffic which is already a problem on Kozlov Street and potentially create a host of other problems. I am asking you to sign this petition to let City of Barrie Council know that we do not agree with this zoning change to allow the further development.
