We are seeing images like this of pets who froze to death or die from heat stroke because their owners refused to allow them inside.

State legislatures should act swiftly to criminalize allowing a pet or any other domestic animal freeze to death or die from heat stroke. If a pet owner keeps their pet outside during extreme cold weather or extreme hot weather and the pet dies, the owner should be punished and banned from ever owning another animal again. 

If you see an animal left out and in distress during these extremely cold winter days, or extremely hot summer days don't hesitate - CALL LAW ENFORCEMENT IMMEDIATELY !!
