Following President Trump's atrocious
comments about Haiti and African countries, Democratic state Sen. Brad Hoylman
introduced a bill to remove Trump's name from New York state park.
The U.S. Senate should absolutely take a stand against Trump's blatant racism by passing this bill. Please sign this petition urging your lawmakers to do so.Trump has repeatedly shown his racism. He has called Mexican immigrants "criminals, drug dealers, rapists, etc." He spread the lie that President Obama is not American but actually born in Africa. He called white supremacists in Charlottesville "very fine people." And now, he has called Haiti and African countries "shithole countries."
This man does not represent American values or have the American people's best interest at heart. He does not deserve to be honored by having a public park named after him. Please sign this petition demanding that our lawmakers strip Trump's name from the park today!
