Save Coalpit Heath Pre-School from closure in July 2015

The Manor Hall Management Committee who oversee the building in which this Pre-School is located, have taken it upon themselves to give notice to this wonderful Pre-School. This will mean from July 2015 this Pre-School will be forced to close.This Pre-School was rated "outstanding" by OFSTED in 2014 and is the only one of that rating in the area. The Committee have been trying for several months to find reasons to terminate the contact belonging to the Owner/Manager of this setting by constant bullying and intimidation. All evidence of this is freely available for examination. This setting currently has 55 children on roll and each and every one of these children receive 100% dedication to learning and development by 10 members of staff. The Owner/Manager of this Pre-School has tried everything in her power to form a working relationship with these people but her voice is never heard. If this Pre-School is forced to close the impact on the local community will be huge. Children and their families will lose a wonderful Pre-School, 10 staff will lose their jobs. What is more outrageous is that this committee have issued a statement on their website (Manor Hall at Coalpit Heath) which assures Parents/Carers that they will be working closely with the Local Authorities to re-instate a new Pre-School in the same location from September. We need to stop this committee from forcing this "outstanding" Pre-School to close due to personal conflict, and to open a new one in it's place.
