STOP THE SPEEDING IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Eastlake is an up and coming neighborhood with young families walking their children, their dogs and riding their bikes. There are also neighborhoods that do not have any sidewalks, so pedestrians are forced to be in the road. When my sons ball went into the road, he was almost struck by a vehicle traveling at an inappropriate speed. The speed that cars travel through this neighborhood is illegal and unsafe. I have ordered a traffic study to see if Daniel Ave. NE meets the criteria to install sidewalks or add speed bumps or additional stop signs.
