Stop Puppy Mills
Puppy Mills. What do you think when you here those words? Most think cruel, neglect, wrong, sad.
In puppy mills there are bad conditions. The dogs are generally crammed into small cages with more than one dog in the cage. The cages are never cleaned and the dogs live in their own urine or feces. The females are forced to breed time after time physically "wrecking" them. The dogs get no love. :( Many times the "grounds keeper" does his/her daily rounds and takes all the dead bodies out of the cages.
The puppies undergo many genectic problems and are sent off to pet stores. Altough there are plenty of pet stores who get their pups from AKC breeders. Of course I'm not saying ignore those dogs because that would leave more dogs without love. But don't buy dogs or cats directly from pet stores. :)
Dear President Obama,
I have created this petition to arise the importance of shutting down puppy mills. It's important that we do this not only for the animals but the people who adopt them.
Every animal that comes out of a puppy mill will have some kind of problem that will cause a lot of money to be given to greedy veterinarian offices. And for the lower class households this could be a problem. They may even dump their pet, or give it to an irresponsible shelter because they simply cannot afford all of the vet bills.
Please help me, and many other people raise the awarness for this situation.
