To elevate the legal status of said pets to that of Personhood, i.e. like that of a human being, though of course they aren't actual people, but then neither is a corporation

Because if a corporation can be legally considered a Person, and a human being is considered a Person, then by the power vested in me, 

we're going to make damn sure our most beloved companions
