  • al: Ken Guy
  • destinatario: The Priime Mnister David Cameron

Lennox Lewis CM, CBE, is the last undisputed world heavyweight champion of the world.

Born in the East End of London on 2nd September 1965, Lewis became the first British Heavyweight Champion of the 20th century on 14th December 1992. On 13th November 1999 Lewis became the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world following his defeat of Evander Holyfield. In his professional career he has only been defeated twice. Both defeats were reversed.

In December 1999 Lewis won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award. Lewis ended his career with a stoppage against Vitali Klitschko and retired to concentrate on his out of sport interests and charity work.

He remains Britains most successful ever boxer and a huge inspiration to people of all ability, race or background entering the sporting arena.
