Infant Ratio to be 3 to 1 ratio

I am currently working in a childcare center taking care of infants ranging in ages 6 weeks-10 months and I firmly believe that in order to make sure thier safety is the main concern and all their needs are met in a timely matter, the ratio needs to change. I find it difficult at times that this ratio is unreasonable. It's often difficult to be alone feeding a baby when I have other babies who are mobile ,crawling around pulling themselves up to a stance and falling. I feel that a teacher should never be alone with more than 2 or more infants at a time. It's not feasible.
