unfair 1yr warranty on large flat screen tv

Because it's unfair for consumers to pay hefty,expensive price for large flat screen tv & only be given a 1yr warranty  for an electronic product. That is difficult & expensive to repair, because of a manufacturer flaw. That manufacturer(sony) & sellers(Wal Mart,Best Buy) plus State/Federal consumer protection agency are to insure the public consumers is given a long/lasting  electronic product such as a large flat screen tv. When paying a hefty/expensive price too     manufacturer or seller.Which is Marketed & Sold as lasting for many years
