Plans are in the works to bring a live-in/residential drug rehab facility to our neighborhood! Into Action Recovery, a Drug & Alcohol Abuse Treatment Center, is planning to move forward with their plans for an over-night/residential drug rehab facility at 619/621 Kirby Road.
Bringing recovering addicts to such a small neighborhood setting, far from medical facilities, poses many problems. Some potential problems include a decrease in safety for our children, an increase in crime, and a significant decline in Home Values.
This proposed location is only 491 feet away from Robinson Elementary School. It's location along Kirby Road puts it on a path that many children take on their walks to and from school. Additionally, Bay Area Dance Moves is right next door. This business provides dance and ballet instructions to children as young as pre-school age.
It's time to let Into Action Recovery know the community is also opposed! Sign this petition and let's tell the City of Pasadena we DO NOT WANT an Into Action Recovery Drug Rehab facility in our community!
