Osseiran Family Request The Resignation of MP Ali Osseiran

Dear Osseiran Family Members,
The past few days have made it clear that the current Lebanese government is not fit to rule. The people have lost confidence in this government after it drove the vast majority below the poverty line and now even drove our families and friends to their death.
Our resigned ministers and prime ministers are being replaced within minutes of submitting their resignation. And with the political elite showing no signs of backing down, the only hope for restructuring this government is the resignation of 1/3 of the parliament. According to article 69 of the Lebanese Constitution, the Government shall be considered resigned if it loses more than 1/3 of its members.
With a death toll of over 150 and counting, I am hereby calling on all Osseiran family members to request the resignation of MP Ali Osseiran in order to invoke this article. By doing so, we become one step closer to the resignation of the entire government.
I am recommending this because I am confident that like us, he is not happy with the way they are leading our country. We have a lot of respect for him, however, if we want to salvage our home, we have to support him in taking this important step. Because by doing nothing, we are complicit in the murder of our friends and families that is taking place.
With your support, we will be coordinating a meeting with Mr. Ali Osseiran later this week in order to share our sentiment with him. Your support on the matter will be highly appreciated.

To provide you with an update, we met Mr. Ali Osseiran last week and presented him with the results. He declined to comment other than the fact that he will not be resigning. Nonetheless, he also said that he welcomes anyone that wants to discuss the matter to visit and meet with him personally.

Thank you again for taking the time to fill out the petition. I am personally very glad to see such solidarity and sense of community within the family on this topic. As non-partisan individuals, we usually tend to feel isolated in our beliefs because we are not exposed to others within the family. This petition has proven otherwise and I am glad to see that it achieved that purpose.
I am glad to see the amazing support we got from our fellow Osseiran members on the topic. We are currently arranging for a meeting with Mr Ali to convey our sentiments. If each one of us can reach out to one more family member to sign this petition, then we will be able to provide him with over 100 signatories!
